Data & Analytics Intern

Responsibilities

o    Assist in designing and implementing data models and pipelines.
o    Help maintain and optimize data warehouse environments (e.g., ETL processes, data quality, and monitoring
o    Learn to build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
o    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into data visualization
o    Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute ideas on best practices.
o    Support data governance and metadata management tasks.
o    Engage in exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
o    Assist with statistical modelling, forecasting, or machine learning under the guidance of senior analysts.
o    Document your work in a clear, structured manner.
o    Present findings and recommendations to team leads and business users.

Requirements

o    Basic knowledge of SQL or other database querying methods.
o    Familiarity with Excel, Python, or R for data manipulation and basic analysis.
o    Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
o    Understanding of data cleansing, data wrangling, and data validation concepts.
o    Awareness of data privacy and security considerations.
o    Strong attention to detail and a mindset for troubleshooting data-related issues.
o    Basic knowledge of statistical methods, mathematics, or machine learning concepts is an advantage.
o    Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
o    Good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
o    Ability to translate technical findings into clear business language.
o    Eagerness to learn from constructive feedback and share knowledge with peers.
