• Set up and manage GitHub repositories (private/public, branching strategies, protected branches) • Implement GitHub Projects for sprint planning and issue tracking • Configure GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployments • Harness GitHub Copilot usage across code completion, chat assistance, and workflow automation • Create GitHub templates for issues, PRs, and project boards • Document workflows, create READMEs, and establish contribution guidelines • Support team collaboration through code reviews, PR workflows, and release management
Requirements
• Current university student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT-related field • Basic understanding of Git/GitHub fundamentals (branching, merging, rebasing) • Familiarity with GitHub Actions (YAML workflows) • Exposure to GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools • Basic scripting knowledge (Python/PowerShell) • Nice to have: Experience with Docker, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD platforms
