Regional Cybersecurity Engineer
Responsibilities
• Assist in implementing security tools and configurations across the Asia Pacific Region
• Monitor alerts from security systems and escalate issues to senior engineers
• Support routine vulnerability scans and patching activities
• Help maintain documentation for security policies and procedures
• Participate in incident response tasks under supervision
• Monitor the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure seamless and efficient operations
• Track incident status, resolution progress, and escalate issues as needed to maintain operational continuity
• Promote basic cybersecurity awareness among staff
• Liaise with headquarters and sales companies on standard security practices
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 1 to 2 years of IT or security-related experience preferred
• Basic understanding of network security and endpoint protection
• Familiarity with tools like antivirus, firewalls, or SIEM is a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English
