Business Development Manager

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Professional to lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and initial customer engagement to solution consultation and deal closure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners while actively identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, particularly in IT solutions and services, and the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations. The successful candidate will also represent the company at industry events to strengthen market presence and establish strategic partnerships.

Job Description

  • Drive the entire sales cycle – from leads generation, initial customer engagement, qualifying, consultation to closure.
  • Maintain good relationship with customers, vendors, business partners and end users.
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining and closing business relationships.
  • To develop a complete understanding of customer's businesses and requirements on IT Solutions and Services.
  • Conduct sales presentation and solutions demonstration to potential customers.
  • To identify potential new business opportunities through proactive customer outreach, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand the company's reach and establish valuable partnerships.

Education

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of IT Solutions Selling will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in System Integrator / Distributor company.

Skills

  • Possesses excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and able to think creatively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin - as we need you to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers.
