MANAGER, BUSINESS ANALYSIS
Job Summary
The Manager, Business Analytics is responsible for providing financial and business insights to support decision-making across the Shared Service organization.
This role leads project-based profitability analysis, resource and cost allocation, and investment planning, while driving data-driven management practices and continuous improvement of business performance. The position works closely with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of resources and alignment with strategic objectives.
Job Description
- Conduct project-based profitability and cost analysis for Shared Service operations, including revenue, cost structures, margins, and productivity.
- Analyze and manage human resource allocation and related cost distribution across projects, functions, and entities to optimize efficiency and transparency.
- Develop and evaluate investment plans and business cases, including ROI analysis, financial impact assessment, and risk evaluation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with finance and operational teams.
- Design, maintain, and enhance management reports and dashboards to provide timely and accurate insights to senior management.
- Identify business performance issues, trends, and improvement opportunities through data analysis and fact-based evaluation.
- Partner with business leaders and project owners to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.
- Lead or support business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives, including standardization and automation of analytical processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistent analytical methodologies across the organization.
- Prepare and deliver clear and effective presentations and analysis summaries for management reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management in line with business needs.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years (preferably 10+ years) of experience in Business Analysis, Business Management, or Financial Analysis, preferably within a multinational corporation or regional/shared service environment.

Hands-on experience in project-based analysis, cost management, and management reporting.

Experience in digitalizing business processes or leading data-driven or automation initiatives is a strong advantage.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools.
- Solid understanding of business operations, cost structures, and financial principles.
- Critical thinking, objective and rational analysis on business initiatives, and periodical monitoring.
- Ability to develop clear business cases and investment proposals.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and objectivity.
- Fluent business English and presentation/facilitation skills.
