Job Summary

Engineer, Network Operation Center (NOC) is responsible for monitoring the performance and capacity of computer systems and networks, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security.

Job Description

• Handle system monitoring for servers, network, endpoints in Microsoft Azure cloud-based infrastructure and on-premise customer environment in 24 x 7 environment
• Responsible for Level 1 and Level 2 Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, Change Management support for multiple external clients across APAC based on SLA
• Perform security incident response, investigation, and reporting using multiple tools – MS Sentinel, MS Defender, Qualys
• Take remedial action in case of notification or service interruption or malfunction
• Perform system maintenance such as regular patching activities, backup, housekeeping, and disaster recovery exercise
• Participate in software upgrade and/or ad-hoc patch deployment and other duties assigned by the company
• Handle escalation request from client/ management

Education

• Diploma in Compute Studies or equivalent
• At least two (2) years relevant working experience in SOC/ NOC operation
• ITIL Foundation Certification is required

Skills

• Experience in cybersecurity incident response
• 2 years’ experience in Microsoft Azure cloud-based operation and support
• 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Windows or Linux Server Operating Systems
• Good knowledge in Network, especially Cisco product (switch, router, access, points, Meraki devices)
• Microsoft Azure certification is desirable
• Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Certification is an advantage
• Shift duties, including overnight shift, are required
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Fluency in English is required: additional language is an advantage
