PRESALES SPECIALIST (SOLUTIONS)

Job Description

  • Responsible for designing technical solutions and product positioning based on customer’s need or requirement. 

  • Prepare and ensure solution offered, able to meet customers’ requirements and budget with competitive edge and differentiation. 

  • Deliver compelling product presentations and conduct software application demonstrations.

  • Conduct discovery sessions and requirements gathering with clients and internal stakeholders. Translate customer needs into detailed solution proposals and scope of work documentation.

  • Create sales proposals and responses to RFQ/RFPs, and presentation.

  • Face-to-face engagement (on-site support) with Customer to provide Technical Consultation and Sales Support.

  • Liaise with vendors on product support and systems integration.

  • Recommendation of upselling to increase wallet share.

  • Contribute to presales assets like presentation decks, demo environments, and solution templates.

  • Support the handover to post-sales implementation teams with comprehensive documentation.

  • Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), Scope of Work (SOW), Proof of Concept (POC), technical proposals including solution architecture and best approach design to meet customer's business requirements.

Job Summary

•    You will be responsible for designing technical solutions, product positioning, costing and presenting final proposal to the prospective clients.

Education

  • Must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related Information Technology field. 

Skills

  • With at least 5 years working experience in IT system integration pre-sales and support. 

  • Knowledge in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and programming languages including (Java, JavaScript, Python, .NET (.NET Core) is considered a plus. 

  • Experienced in implementation of enterprise application solutions, such as enterprise Content Management Systems (eCMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP), E-Invoice applications.  

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with solid technical troubleshooting skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills, both oral and written in English and Bahasa Melayu.
