SPECIALIST, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Job Summary
The Specialist, Learning & Development role supports the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning solutions across APAC. This regional role combines strong learning fundamentals with hands on ownership of learning systems, digital learning and regional training initiatives. The incumbent will play a key role in learning technology transformation, governance of learning systems and supporting capability development aligned to business priorities.
Job Description
• Conduct learning needs analysis and skills gap assessments with business stakeholders to define clear learning objectives and outcomes
• Design, develop, test and continuously improve learning solutions at regional level, including e-learning, virtual learning, blended programmes and performance support resources
• Design and develop e-learning modules, microlearning and instructional videos, including but not limited to Ricoh product training content
• Support the potential migration of the Learning Management System from Cornerstone to SuccessFactors Learning, including data validation, testing, user acceptance support and post migration stabilisation
• Actively support the implementation and ongoing use of SuccessFactors Succession, Development and Individual Development Plan modules, working closely with HR, IT and vendors
• Provide first level system support and governance for learning systems, including user access management, audits, reporting and system documentation
• Own and maintain documentation for LMS processes, learning governance standards and key end to end learning processes
• Partner with internal subject matter experts and external partners such as Microsoft to roll out digital learning programmes, certifications and credentials relevant to the business
• Coordinate learning content localisation and translation with third party vendors and local APAC teams
• Generate, analyse and interpret learning data and reports to support decision making and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with country based L&D teams to drive process consistency, system adoption and best practice sharing
• Create learning related communication materials and updates from time to time, including SharePoint pages, announcements and learner communications
• Support L&D projects and initiatives as required, including change management and communication activities
Education
• College degree or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, HR or technology enabled learning environments
• Experience supporting LMS implementations or migrations, preferably with SuccessFactors and or Cornerstone On Demand
• Exposure to digital transformation, change management or regional projects in a matrix environment
• Experience working with global or regional stakeholders across multiple locations
Skills
• Strong foundation in learning design principles, adult learning and digital learning methodologies
• Hands on experience with learning systems governance, reporting and documentation
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors Learning, Succession & Development and IDP modules is highly preferred
• Comfortable using AI enabled tools to support learning design, content creation or process efficiency
• Strong interest in design, learner experience and continuous improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with SharePoint for content management and collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders and work independently in a regional role
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging learning communications
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a global and matrixed environment
